De Voorburgse Rugby Club (VR-C), de Wassenaar Warriors en WRC Te Werve hebben samen een Juniorenteam gevormd, dat in het rugbyseizoen 2021/2022 gaat uitkomen in de Nederlandse jeugdcompetitie. Het team krijgt de naam ‘The Hague Barbarians’.
De clubs hebben alledrie voor het komende seizoen niet genoeg spelers om een eigen Juniorenteam te vormen. Omdat alle clubs in de regio Den Haag gevestigd zijn en de betrokken partijen een goede relatie hebben, werd al snel besloten om samen te werken.
Vanaf 1 juni trainen de spelers samen. Er wordt getraind op de accommodatie van WRC Te Werve, VR-C en Wassenaar Warriors. Spelers en betrokken staf kijken uit naar deze mooie samenwerking en het komende nieuwe rugbyseizoen!
Kom spelen bij The Hague Barbarians!
De Junioren (U16) zijn 14 en 15 jaar oud als het seizoen begint (geboren in 2006 of 2007). Nieuwe spelers die zich willen aansluiten bij The Hague Barbarians zijn van harte welkom en kunnen deelnemen aan 4 gratis proeftrainingen.

Voorburgse Rugby Club, Wassenaar Warriors and WRC Te Werve launch The Hague Barbarians Juniors team
Voorburgse Rugby Club (VR-C), Wassenaar Warriors and WRC Te Werve have formed a Juniors team together that will compete in the Dutch youth competition 2021/2022 rugby season. The team is proudly named The Hague Barbarians.
None of the clubs have enough players for the upcoming season to form their own Juniors team. Because the clubs are all located in the region of The Hague and there is a good relationship between the parties involved, it was quickly decided to work together.
Starting June 1, all players will train together. Training will take place at both the WRC Te Werve accommodation and that of VR-C and Wassenaar Warriors. Players and staff involved are looking forward to this great cooperation and the coming new rugby season!

The Juniors (U16) are 14 and 15 years old when the season starts (born in 2006 or 2007). New players who want to join The Hague Barbarians are very welcome. You can come and try out training for free! Please use the form to register for 4 free trail training sessions!
