Registration

Parents can enroll their child by filling out the registration form (the form is in Dutch). Under “Lidmaatschapkeuze”, you can select between “proeflid” (trail member) and “spelend lid/volledig lid” (full member). During registration, we’ll ask for your bank details, but we’ll only collect payment if your child becomes a full member. With full membership, your child’s details will be shared with Rugby Netherlands.

Once we’ve received your registration, we’ll get in touch with you. Please note that we’re a volunteer organisation, so it might take a few days. If you need to register urgently, please call our membership administration in advance (06 – 5327 8555).

!! Only if you are registered as a full member and your registration has been processed by Rugby Netherlands, you are allowed to play matches. This can take a few days. !!

Trial Member First

With a trial membership, you can train and get acquainted with rugby for 4 weeks free of charge. The 4-week period starts when you participate in the first training session.

If you want to become a full member, please send an e-mail to the membership administration. Even if you don’t want to become a member, we’d appreciate hearing from you at the same e-mail address. If we haven’t received an e-mail after the 4th week, unfortunately, we’ll have to unregister you.

Becoming a Full Member Immediately

You don’t have to wait for us to contact you before becoming a full member! If you already know that rugby is your sport after just 2 training sessions (or even sooner), you can send an e-mail to the membership administration and indicate that you want to become a full member.

Membership Fees

The membership fee is determined annually by the General Members Meeting (ALV); you can find the rates here.

The membership fee (the club fee plus the association contribution) is automatically collected during a direct debit round in the first quarter of the new year. Installment payments are possible, please contact our treasurer for details.

Membership Changes

Any changes to your membership (such as address updates or changes to your e-mail address) should be communicated to the membership administration. Please note that these changes can only be processed via e-mail by the membership administration; verbal or WhatsApp notifications won’t be processed.

End of Your Membership

  • Membership ends either through cancellation by the member or expulsion by the association.
  • A season runs from July 1 in any year until June 30 in the following calendar year. Cancellations for the new season must be made before June 15 of the current season and sent to the membership administration by e-mail.
  • If the cancellation is not received before June 15, the full membership fee is due for the entire new season.
  • If you cancel during an ongoing season, you are still obligated to pay the membership fee for that season.
  • Oral cancellations, regardless of who made them, are not valid.
  • Cancellations via WhatsApp, regardless of the sender, are not valid.

NOTE: We will send a confirmation of the cancellation by e-mail within a few days. If you don’t receive confirmation, please contact the membership administration. After confirming your cancellation, VRC will cancel the granted direct debit authorization.
